On the May 1st, 2nd, 3rd weekend I attended the Maple Ridge Homeshow and made an appearance as Miss Teen Maple Ridge-World. I spent the weekend walking around and speaking with businesses. I even helped out one company and received a free pair of Massaging insoles. I also met with Ernie Daykin, the mayor of Maple Ridge, featured in the photo with me. However, it was not my first time meeting him. I have also met him at the Celebration of the Arts, It's A Wrap party where I volunteered as a model for a local designer. On either side of me are two of my friends who also volunteered at the event. 
Both events proved to have lots of exciting exhibitions with everything from body painting to an indoor garden. I can't wait to see what next year's Homeshow will be like.
